a little look at the score - the piece is open to any ensemble of any voice composition of basically any size above 8 singers. Octave agnostic and always shifting in how it sounds from performance to performance, this was definitely challenging for a community ensemble but they did it beautifully =)

here's a little look at the test environment we've been cooking up. It's entirely placeholder assets but I think the vibes are great, particularly with @matthewwiggins.bsky.social's sound design! one day I'll actually get the tiles to look like sand but for something made in paint it's okay =p

For saxophonists, I was requested to create a hybrid of Christian Lauba's "Jungle" and "Bat" in a single piece. That's not a terribly inviting thing, particularly since a prospective performer either needs to learn two multitrack parts or find a second person brave enough for the shenanigans (3/?)
