We're switching gears this week and setting up a development environment on a modern Windows 10/11 system.
Next on our adventure is the procurement and testing of an external modem. Serial port modems with the proper adapters work flawlessly even on the most modern computers. Let's get our selves some hardware, configure it, and test it out with something special.

Establish a future proof solution for the ability to make calls with analog technology again. This is a prerequisite to access any BBS (Bulletin Board System) in original analog form.

Purchased this "security camera" from a thrift store for $2. Turns out there is no camera; it's powered by two D-cell batteries and flashes a light. I'm thrilled. Now to convert it to a real #raspberrypi powered #iot camera for ultimate deception.
