Election years actually (whale=val which is also the Swedish word for election) since Gothenburg where the whale is located is famous for their bad puns

Hey! I've been inside that whale (not for the aforementioned activities though) - and yeah, it used to be open all the time, but now it's mostly opened when there's a pun on the word "whale" available (whale = val in Swedish, and val is also election), so election years etc it's open :)
