In hindsight, I think I'd rather they were 100% potato.
In an Internet rabbit hole about public holidays, and discovered that St Patrick's Day is one by law if it falls Monday to Friday, or Sunday (subbed by the Monday).
If it's on a Saturday though, it's not covered by law - so they just bodge it and have the Monday proclaimed as one by the king.

Discovered over the weekend that my wife's family don't have pigs in blankets at Christmas. Guess at least I've got time to solve this problem.
