If they are not officials this is the break down of law and order. Shameful.

I find it hard to believe the US would have lent AAR aircraft notwithstanding their follow up attack themselves. Isn’t it more likely that Israel have bought or developed their own buddy-buddy refuellers a la Buccanneer and F18s?

Reminds me of the following quote by Deitrich Bonhoeffer, “On Stupidity” — written from prison where he died resisting Hitler and the Nazis.

No idea! Not sure what the ‘get it yet?’ comment refers to.
If you mean there is an amount of cross pollination between the two countries military industrial complexes, yes I understand that but no idea of the amount, and guessed that the US has more sway there than the UK.

I hope we would. I believe we would have the thumb on the button but what if US decides to no longer service or maintain the missiles?

And build European NATO strength both militarily and politically.,Tell the US to take a running jump and look at its own failed Democracy before criticising ours. Europe incl UK MUST invest in its military- materiel and structures. We cannot rely on the US under Trump, Vance and Musk.

In addition Trident missiles return to the US for maintenance and deep servicing. Many parts of the missiles are provided by US companies. Would the UK be truly independent of US influence when deciding whether to use them or not?

In Germany in the 70s and later we (the UK) had our own nuclear bombs carried on manned aircraft as part of the NATO nuclear deterrence strategy so we’ve been under other people’s decision making before. I think this would be a very thorny problem for Europe and UK…
