56 level gaymer and music lover (The Avalanches, PetShop Boys, FM-84, and so many more). I’m still trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up.
Officially out of the Little Drummer Boy Challenge as of 3:24pm on 12/10. I forgot that The Bird and the Bee covered it in their holiday album - I can’t complain too much, it’s always nice to hear them.

Last night a group of us went to see Peter Pan in the Presidio and like last year, it was a fun and wonderful panto. It was sorely needed to brighten the season at home.

Back in 2004 after moving to Las Vegas, my supervisor found out I didn’t have a Christmas tree. She gave me one and I have put it up every year since. Thank you for the kindness you showed me.

TGIFFF! Made it to the end of a long week. I am hoping it’s a nice weekend to catch my breath and calm the mind. Job hunting to avoid the really long commute is difficult and disheartening.

Doing my best to keep positive so I’ll watch this crazy show descend into madness and result in genius. Also a plus that it’s about a topic I’m passionate - music.

To treat myself, I went to see Murder for Two at the Hillbarn Theater and Conservatory. Very well done and fun, especially with a woman playing the 9 roles instead of another man.

Treating myself to seeing The Reservoir by Jake Brasch at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Mentally struggling today for reasons.

If I drank alcohol, I would be tempted to try the Fuckboi

As is usual for me, I’m early to meet the group for dinner and a show. I’m making the best by hanging out at Mother in San Francisco, having a Lemon Hibiscus Mocktail.

This afternoons entertainment. Later, it’s David Archuleta in concert.

I walked by this cool mural in San Jose. It’s always fun to find artwork in random places.

“Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi, performed by the San Francisco Opera was worth staying up late on a work night. The next adventure in live performance is “Cabaret” by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff. (Very appropriate considering the current climate.)

Here to see TWRP in concert. Sadly, it’s just me - no one was able to join me.

Hopefully the promotion shows up soon - until then back to the search.

It’s so difficult to keep a positive outlook. Things are challenging everywhere in my life. Sometimes I just have to disconnect and enjoy art - in this case, live theater in San Francisco.

Seeing Sasha Velour in The Big Reveal at Berkeley Rep Theater.

Seeing this today and I’m expecting to be emotionally moved - to the point I thought of not seeing it. I know it is an important show and worth it. (It’s not an easy show at all.)

Being a big fan of live music, I’m finally able to say I’ve seen Kylie Minogue after tonight. Only a few artists that I would love to see and haven’t been able to remain: Kid Creole, Sunscreem, Mike Oldfield, and Anastacia. (Unfortunately they don’t tour in the US.)

As a treat, went to see Timecop 1983 in San Francisco at The Independent.

It’s also interesting to hear music from the park and movies during boarding

My flight home from Seattle today and this is my plane. Maybe it’s a sign that I need to head south next time from the bay.

My treat for surviving the week.

Ouch! Today, half the department is out. It’s going to be a long Monday. :/

Time to crank up the tunes and try to find a positive groove.

Looking forward to seeing Puddles :)

I was at the Fox Theater getting tickets for San Holo and while I was there, Primus was scheduled to perform. The crowd was enthusiastic and dressed for the show, including this starfish. (Not pictured was his +1 the jellyfish.)
