If you mean “run” in the sense of prebuilt applications, Matrix, Stoat.chat (Revolt), and Element can be self hosted. Matrix seems pretty nice, as it has many similar features to discord, but Stoat is seen as being the closest copy. Element is based off matrix.

Platforms like Nekoweb make it all the easier to learn and do. Free and reliable hosting (that’s also neko themed!!).
