I find it supremely interesting to see how hard some fans cling to conventions of the business as someone that came back to wrestling last year after almost 20y of not watching—at all—since I was like 9-10

personally, it’s not just that Hangman did the reveal of Pony Schiavone well, it’s that our buying of that specific getup to begin with was seeded previously by showing Phantom-costumed Tony as a backstage interviewer for an earlier segment.
