had to drive behind this car all the way back home from work at half the speed limit...

if your rear axle can be used to string a bow, go get your damn car fixed

I watched the car in front of me accidently and graphically squash a rat trying to cross the street and I just know that memory is snuggly buried in the trauma crevices of my brain, ready to be remembered forever and when I least expect it

ive been on a 18th century period piece kick recently. i really enjoyed Barry Lyndon, it is so slow and dry. it is the quintessential "every frame a painting movie", no one else will like it, 10/10 would not recommend

Amadeus is wonderful and i think it needs a mass revisiting in these AI art times

i really shouldnt be stuffing my <5s gifs with complicated animations if i ever want to finish any of them in a timely manner and actually build a portfolio for myself

but i cant think of anything simple that would hold my attention long enough to see it through. complicated is at least not boring

all this time I thought "ketchum" was just a made up last name they gave to ash in pokemon because it sounded like "catch 'em" like "catch 'em all". imagine my surprised when i learned it was a real name

finished watching the expanse for the first time, i liked it alot. the worldbuilding is inspiring and i love it. i may have to listen to the final 3 novels on audiobook since the show ended before those got adapted.

i hate how these grifter reviewers try to make an appeal to real world probability and luck as a way to debunk unlikely events happening in movies. it's a goddamn movie. why should the unlikely, yet exciting thing not happen in a movie just because it wouldn't in real life?

"Yeah, Ice Cube. That was a good line read," the director of War of the Worlds lied.

reading and listening to the most brain-dead, bad-faith, cope-fueled, negative takes on superman is my new favorite sport

does anyone out there know of any fictional space empires who's entire purpose is to end the universe?

im trying to come up with a faction and i need some inspiration to pull from and google is failing me

Tenet is christopher nolan's tutorial to the audience for how to watch a christopher nolan movie. this includes any repeat viewings.

i really want to keep working on my new art direction, but the persistent numbness in my forearm and pinky is telling me i need to take a break.

it's disappointing because i feel like i was finally finding my flow

maybe i should buy sling for my arm...

i havent felt relaxed in a long time. worry and anxiety force me to constantly be on edge. it's an endless, pulsating tension.

like anticipating a dream to become nightmare at the first sign of comfort.

sleep is hard, feeling joy is harder.

i feel like prey.
