and the game i was involved in from the start was called Skater Frog, was a project in our final year of school. the other two i worked on as freelance, Brewhaus (I think the developer recently pulled this project, just tried looking for it on steam; I made the world map) and Rune Knights. --

that's exactly it. most from my college who had any sort of success post-grad were a couple genuine prodigies and a whole bunch of others who were close with them from the start, or had connections. it's hard, but hard work CAN and will pay off -- I just don't have the energy for it anymore :p
