The messaging to get Trump to turn on Elon is classic ego pitting- “Wow clearly Elon is so much stronger and smarter than Trump - he’s using him as a puppet and Trump doesn’t even know it!” We know his personality by now, don’t paint Elon as his achievement, but a threat to his position

Find the forest through the trees in your comms and do more strategic blocking and tackling for things like #inspectorgeneral firings that will have massive downstream impact. Even Chuck Grassley is against firings, find some coalition with him and others, get it done please

Dem leadership should have direct, concise, and repeated messaging linking trump’s policies to impact on all people’s basic support systems. Don’t bury the lede or let them say it’s Biden inflation policies
