Amidst more important things, I’m wasting time wondering about Adrien Brody’s “statement” brooch at the Oscars. A kid said it was a squirrel; I saw a buffalo with wings—maybe a nod to “buffalo wings”? But was it making a statement, or am I hoping too much for a Madeleine Albright-style message?
