I love DS9 for the interstellar hub that it is but its much smaller than ESD. ESD has more to do and see when your not on duty so I would begrudgingly choose ESD.

Thats a good point they may have picked up this license uncertain of the demand. If it doesn’t sell well then they may just sit on the license if it sells well we can expect a bright future but first set they go a touch conservative on the design elements just in case.

I’m sure this was an early iteration if not the first appearance of the Dress uniform they modify details as time goes on.
Even in behavioral ways. Like the first ep with Weyoun on DS9 the Jem’Hadar & Weyoun were rude to Odo where all subsequent eps they treated him like a God. As an example.

He literally said he would lower drug prices 300, 500, 600% when nothing can be discounted more than 100% basically he is saying not only will Americans get free prescription drugs but because its lowered by 600% he is going to pay you when receiving your medication!
