Reconciliation happening in April is a bigger fight. The greater harm that could be done from a shutdown was real, and it’s was an awful choice to have to make…

My over arching point is that we need to cut through the noise and stick to facts. I adore + respect AOC tremendously however what she and some of the progressives are doing have me scratching my head. Should we be livid at what’s happening? Yes. But the CR really didn’t cut much

And I urge you to read the CR, please. We are doing exactly what we accuse the right of doing,not looking into the substance of the actual bill. The big fight is in April. None of this is ok, but we can’t fight against this admin divided.

Oh I read it, did YOU?!? Of the $13billion in cuts out of a 1.7 trillion $ budget, which area is most concerning to you? And what do you think Musk+tRUmp would be able to do if the govt did shutdown? It was a lose lose either way but at least the courts, our only backstop that’s working, are open

Right?!!!?!? We don’t have the time or room for infighting like this, what passed was a CR not the full budget or GOP wishlist. It’s infuriating to try to combat and the progressives aren’t helping.

This is not the bill that’s passed. This is what they want to pass inevitably yes, but what was just passed was a CR that maintained previous funding levels minus a few cuts but nothing major yet. The big fight is in April when reconciliation happens.
