I've been keeping my monthly sketch pages in collections on Patreon. (Public posts.) I'm also thinking about making a collection for all the free CSP brushes I've been randomly posting.

My monthly free Patreon post ("October's Sketches") has arrived!

Three free CSP brushes this time. (I think one of them is a repeat.)

Watching "Angel" and ever since they rereleased the series with the extended widescreen format, they've overlooked some things. The characters are walking through a gym, and to show Angel without a reflection in the mirror, there's a simple camera trick, but the trick is now ruined. (S2 Ep1)

QRP with your meme redraws!

(I don't make meme images often, but I did do this one. Ha!)

I came across this random image online and wanted to see if I could create a CSP brush to mimic the hair (ya know, something to use in the sketching phase). I tried to find the original artist, and I *think* this is them.

Facebook is evil for many reasons, but tonight, I was hit with this memory. "14 years ago," it said. And I can see my comic in the background—Chapter 1. There's my old Intuos 2, complete with the mylar I taped on to smooth out the deep scratches. They say it takes 12 years to become a success. 🤔💀

I bought a guitar at a yard sale for $50. It’s a Laurel Canyon, though I don’t know how good they are, but that’s not important. I’ve always wanted to learn, and I had a strange thought. AI is trying to replace artists, but it can never replace the joy of making art. I want frustration. I want fun.

Last Halloween, I drew "The Addams Family" in my style. And, of course, this year I'm going to draw "The Munsters."

🧡🎃QRP your Pumpkin Art! 🎃🧡

(This is an old one from 2012. Each of the characters decorated a pumpkin.)

I didn't have much time to doodle this past month, but at least I have something to show.

I got hit with this weird Patreon glitch. I wish I had that many patrons!

Welp, TikTok has become a dead app for me.

The character is supposed to be one of the prototypes/creations before Vengari ended with Noni.

The pen a Kuretake no. 55. Cheap and fun to use. But the ink isn’t waterproof. I like it for sketching because I can go back over with a waterbrush to get some ink wash effects. 🖌🖋

I normally don’t ink sketches like these, but I wanted to test out a pen I found in my hoard.

Chapter 13 is going to be daunting. It’s going to be a little bit of “Spirited Away” with all the creatures I need to design. And my strategy? Making them up as I go along. There’s not enough time to spend on concepts. This feels like writing an in-depth research paper the night before it’s due.

I was watching Netflix's "Haunted Hotel" and noticed a familiar fireplace (since it's the same model I've used in my comic).

I bought this book at a yard sale for .75¢, and it’s about Elizabeth Báthory. But apparently someone only read the clickbaity title and left this message on the inside. 🙄

I’ve never considered myself great at art. Only adequate.

While I love making digital art, there’s something fun and unpredictable when it comes to traditional art. Especially ink sketches. No eraser and no turning back. 100% commitment to the chaos.
