Scouser. Season ticket. Socialist. Family. Boring.
Don't see it myself. City's main issue last season was also their squad.

They spent £200m in Jan to try and fix it, and it still took another summer spend of around the same amount to get them back to close to their level.

I don’t think this gets resolved until next summer.

It's a paradox, though. All these companies, and it's almost all big and medium-sized companies, chasing the bottom line by reducing staff costs, need people to buy their products.

So when there's large volumes of unemployment, who exactly will be buying what they're selling?

Why would you want to torpedo csncer research?

He's genuinely evil.

"Rich cheats" from the fanbase that cry their eyes out because their child beheading owners can't spend unlimited sums?

Hypocrites.

You think we sanctioned a £125m transfer to make a profit? 😂

We did it to win trophies. That's how the Isak fee will be measured.

Not bad that.

This is all logical and makes sense.

But what was Ekitike told when we signed him?

He'd just locked in being a starting, productive, focal point CF.

He's not taking a step back, but he's also not getting the same role.

But I'm more positive after reading everybody's views about it on here.

Most clubs tend to have an established No.9 and someone who rotates. Not 2 world-class CFs, when you only play with 1 CF.

What happens in the big games? They'll both want to play.

The point being, Ekitike as our No.9, and we buy another backup, one who is comfortable playing 2nd fiddle.

Stock piling 2 world-class players for every position has not worked out well for Chelsea.

Do you mean always overpaying for players and being shite?
