So true, but we humans keep wanting to believe certain things and we find a way to make them "true," even when not factual. For example, we admire someone, so everything she/he does is great because we interpret it that way. Someone we dislike does the same things and we decide they're terrible.

RIP, Ozzy. What I'd admired about Ozzy was that he wasn't born into money and he had to overcome a lot of obstacles to succeed.

I'm not sure that any of our recent presidents or presidential candidates were qualified--on both sides. We need to get rid of the dem vs. repub paradigm. They're all loyal to their wealthy donors. The rest of us don't matter.

Seems everywhere you go there are people trying to control you. We get angry at politicians but politics is everywhere--in the schools, in the bars, in the coffee shops... Really, everywhere you go, there's always someone who thinks they know what's best for everyone else and wants control.

I think it's every musician's dream to quit their day job. However, I learned the hard way of the day job necessity. Maybe in the 60s or 70s it was possible, but these days, money talks unfortunately, and most audiences like their corporate bands.
