#nowlistening to Sorcery by DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ

I absolutely loved their album "Hex" from earlier this year so I'm super hyped for this. If you like house music and plunderphonics, do yourself a favor and listen to some DJ Sabrina.

Some new additions to my collection.

I got RAW and Jumanji since I just love both, and I also bought the unrated SAW collection so I can finally start my journey into the franchise

Jason Takes Manhattan might be my favorite "so bad it's good" horror film. I re-watched this last month with a friend while smoking a bowl and it was genuinely hilarious

5. Creep (2014)

This is easily one of my favorite found footage films. Mark Duplass does a great job at setting the tone by portraying a scarily convincing psychopath. This is by far one of the best non-paranormal found footage films out there.

5. Ice Cream Man (1995)

Idk if this movie is considered a slasher, but it feels almost like a satirical version of one. Clint Howard is such a weirdo in this film, and you should never trust ice cream from the Ice Cream Man, unless you like having your appetite ruined.

4. When Evil Lurks (2023)

This movie is incredibly bleak. It also has quite a few scenes that are very ambitious, especially *that* scene. I absolutely loved the atmosphere throughout this film, and the worldbuilding and storytelling paired with the awesome effects makes for a really great movie.

How does everyone feel about Apostle (2018)? I've always thought it was pretty great, but I never really see it mentioned. It's probably one of my favorite netflix films in general.

You might have to change your moderation settings. There's a bunch of specific content filters so if you set all of them to "show" it should stop censoring them. In the advanced content filters I believe setting those to "off" does the same thing.

4. Tourist Trap (1979)

To me, this movie is like if The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was a supernatural film. You'd think that's a bad thing, but I think it works really well for this film. If you like campy 80s horror movies about strange killers living strange lives, this one may be for you.

3. Dolls (1986)

I honestly don't remember the plot all too well, but I really loved the early practical effects in this. It's campy fun, and a classic if you like horror movies based around possessed dolls.

2. The Stepford Wives (1975)

This movie feels really ahead of its time. If you like films that touch on serious topics like misogyny and sexism, this one may be for you. I also think Black Mirror fans may be able to find some enjoyment in this, as it has a similar fever dream quality to it.

1. The Baby (1973)

If you like disturbing psychological horror, this one may be right up your alley. This is a movie that only gets weirder the longer you watch.
