People just LOVE searching reasons to hate Nintendo or especially Pokemon and turn everything into some "Nintendo is evil and the Disney of Gaming and sue happy!" agenda. Especially since the Palworld thing (and now claim Nintendo/Pokemon does it ALL the time except Palworld being the big exception)

Oh, I can absolutelly see the Higurashi vibes in the Setting. I'm actually curious about this Silent Hill (I never was big in the franchise).

Screenshots like this show that they were going for an artistic artstyle based on old Japanese art like ukiyo-e. It works very well for that game.
