..not only voted on in Congress, but there would also be some kind of national vote alongside. For example tomorrow’s vote would not only happen in Congress, but voters could also go to the polls to vote on it. If the votes don’t align, law makers would have to make changes.

Absolutely agree! The looks and comment I would get sometimes when I had to nurse at the mall or the state fair often made me so uncomfortable even though I tried to go somewhere out of the way and I'd cover myself with a nursing blanket. People who don't know better always have the most to say.
