While I very much agree, I will say that it is actually possible to get help with that particular gauntlet. Though... the game does NOTHING to tell you this. It's just a thing that happens if you fulfill certain criteria.

The animator is only known as Hanyu. They mentioned it on... the other social media site that closely resembles this one.

I'm already sufficiently ancient to where I look at both of those and just question where in the name of all that is holy the joke even is. Surely this is a thought I will continue to have till the end of my days.

...I wasn't exactly up to date with internet humor in my teenage years either tbf.

Which is particularly silly when Daniel Craig's movies were, themselves, a reboot, casting Bond as a newly assigned agent in 2006.

...And I do think they should just reboot again. I liked the idea of NTTD actually being THE END of that continuity. It felt like a fitting note to end on.

...And I feel this way having NOT seen the stage show these Magical Boys are from. But like, if you're gonna actually feature them in the show at all, maybe ACTUALLY FEATURE THEM??? Instead of just having them just pop in, say hi, and then immediately disappear???

He covered them in the second video. Basically: They help counteract limescale buildup and also make stuff dry faster. And to do anything at all they need to be added to the wash at the very end, which is why "3 in 1" tabs that claim to have rinse aid in them are silly and do nothing.

At first I was like "Okay so surely there's some fudgery going on here right?"

Then I saw the graph.

Oh no, his odds have gone from like 98% to 90% how ever will he recover from this devastating blow.

Silksong started out as DLC, and even after being spun off into its own game, the game design still kind of retains that... assuming that everyone who plays it has already beaten everything HK had to offer and is looking for another, even greater challenge, kinda vibe.

Well, for MOST of the game the story is entirely separate, but the endgame won't make a whole lot of sense without context from Hollow Knight.

Though there's a more glaring reason why I would not recommend Silksong first: It assumes the player has already mastered Hollow Knight.

Honestly I feel like the default ending basically punishes you for not wanting to go for 100%. Like, the only hopeful ending to the story requires doing that kinda secret third...

Sure, HK also had its best ending locked behind a brutal bonus boss, but its default ending felt... a lot less mean.

Support and sustainability. Sure. I mean if one disregards that they chronically underpay their workers, that they've been actively making their subs MORE basic over time, that they rarely ever correct errors, and that as with all streaming services, shows will just disappear without warning.

Nah, the concert was a literal real life event that happened between the last episode and this one. Episode 36 was essentially one big ad.

...Which to me is EVEN MORE EGREGIOUS than if it had been a movie tie-in. This franchise is toyetic at the best of times but this felt like a step too far.
