IIRC a 2017 study by Bristol Uni and a more recent study by (I think) UCLA concluded that trans+ people are not a safety issue in 'single sex' spaces. Also anecdotally Ireland hasn't had any issues since it introduced self ID back in 2015. They just make any old crap up and no one checks 🤦🏻
