Absolutely. It's the most horrifying from what it implies, but it's also ironically the one that might bring his downfall the quickest. That level of overconfidence rarely sees reality looming around the corner.

One of three things is plausible with how Trump is suddenly unafraid:

-Pam Bondi will be the sacrificial lamb and say an investigation keeps it from happening
-They've scrubbed enough of the files to save Trump
-Trump's thoroughly convinced he doesn't need to fear consequence anymore

Funny how we all just “have to” accept AI as progress even if it’s janky and either has demonstrated no improvements to productivity or outright tanks it, but we never had to accept remote work despite every study showing it improves productivity AND workers lives.

They had the GOP over a barrel, and because they were starting to get personally inconvenienced they decided letting 51k people die PER YEAR due to health care changes was an acceptable "compromise" with power-hungry pathological liars who defend pedophiles.

It's just proof that they're trying so hard to solidify their fascist reign. They know that the current president isn't long for this world due to natural illnesses, and they know abso-goddamn-lutely nobody else can capture MAGA like he can.

When he goes, their plans get massive delays.

But throughout the attempts to force their version of Christianity, the attempts to make slaves of us all via horrible pay and increasing costs, the attempts to strip away forms of entertainment, and their attempts to ethnically cleanse the US, they ignore the golden rule.

Bread and circuses.

Billionaire donors, mergers, acquisition via private equity, the insane ouroboros that is the tech industry's trading money with each other to inflate this AI bubble to grotesque proportions. The upper class and corporate are coked out of their minds because they're getting everything they wanted.

It's also a gross display of being incompetent at even fascism, but I think that much was obvious.

The threat of violence from MAGA, whether from the civilian or military populace, are one of the only things keeping this going.

The other thing is the frankly obscene amounts of money flowing.

But spoiler alert: People need to eat, and people need to be happy.

The fact that they are, at this point, doing their most damned to speedrun the boot displays a stark inability to comprehend people as people. They only see the numbers. They only see their interpretation of scripture.

All of this shows that they're so blindingly obsessed with power and instilling control that they're ignoring fundamental human needs. They think they can get away with murdering millions because their version of religion will convince the rest that everything is fine, you can pray for fun!

Like, it's literally basic shit. But they're getting rid of immigrants and SNAP just to take food away from a bunch of people.

All while they have payment processors try to squash out the majority of entertainment, taking away a lot of avenues from others.

You don't just skip Bread and Circuses.
