Concurred, first season in an age I've not been fussed about going...leading to 0 away games thus far coupled with missing a few home ones too. Overhaul and reconnect during the summer and let's try again.

Said he exact same thing to my boy during the week. Losing mentality and culture is rife. Complete overhaul in the summer required, and not just the playing side of things. Analysts etc should be booted out, too many and useless.

Shared frustration, was it related to the injury or the fact he didn't get his move....which he may have delayed ha ing surgery for for fear of failing the medical....yep I'm old and cynical.

Mengi was distracted by the flashy lights of a move, burke just doesn't stay fit long enough (think he's quality when he is) worry to be relying on both of them for the run in...one injury at the back and we are screwed ala last season.

Woodrow didn't need replacing, pelly was replaced with fanne, the confusing one is the defence..already an area that required strengthening, despite Holmes not being "ready" he's more ready than mengi and burke will ever be this season. Anderson needs to stay fit which is big ask on recent history

Problem is the expectation of defeat exudes from the pitch currently, their get up and go has got up and gone. Long slog for the last 16 or so games. By no means certain, but looking very likely sadly.

Just stay up this season. No matter how ugly the football gets, get results and worry about rebuild in the summer.

What they need to start doing is being better than they have this current season. Injuries etc aside, those that have played haven't been particularly good and only dipping into transfer market will make significant change in performance I reckon.

And therein lies the bigger problem, hit the ground running or "it was the wrong appointment" clubs on a hiding to nothing at this point.

He was hoping to get his move ala Barkley and ogbene, that didn't materialise and he's gone to shit. Now he knows he isn't going anywhere based on performances he's decided he may as well get out of it for a while... Not a great look
