Which, I guess makes me the second kind of person? I enjoy planning, problem solving, exploring ideas, etc. Just the actual job of taking a formed concept and putting it onto a page or getting it inside another person's head is the obstacle.

My hope is I can write enough that it ceases to be one.

While I do enjoy writing when I latch onto something interesting, or when writing specific moments, the disconnect I feel is I don't necessarily *want* to be a writer, but I do want to tell stories/create worlds. But, all the ways in which I can readily do that require writing, and so I write.

It's been a week, that's for sure.

In my case, just went to bed early so didn't want to oversleep, and not wake up too much later than when I need to wake up for work during the week.

Hopefully you can still find time that's quiet for the editing. 🙏

In a similar vein, I set my alarm last night for 6:10am, but then forgot to actually turn it on. Slept till 8-9am 🙃

Been working on an Ace Attorney fangame as an ongoing side project and learning experience. It's... taking a while.

Plus, accounting for things being experienced or read out of order, and just generally having things branch in different directions means most words you do write need to be carefully considered.

See, it's very easy to tell the difference. If my dad listens to it, it's country, and if I listen to it, it's folk.

There are definitely people I follow who, when saying or posting something themselves, I want to be hearing from/seeing, but who repost so, so much stuff I do not really care for, sometimes 10s at a time. It's certainly a feature I would love.

I still have a bunch of DVDs, and discs for PS2 and PC games sitting on my shelves or in binders, and it's honestly really annoying to pull out the USB disc drive.

I get the value and modularity of dongles and making that stuff external, but it's eliminated what used to just be super convenient. 😠

For the longest time, I would insist on getting new laptops with disc drives, and I'd be incredibly limited in my choices as a result, but I wanted to be able to read discs, damnit!
