see! you see the picture. idk part of arch is the face that everything is designed to be tinkered with, but sometimes I just want to be able to figure out why my mirrors have suddenly switched to UK servers

you gotta love the arch community. why bother ever having a Reddit, when all anyone will ever say is "have you checked the documentation". well no I haven't but that's COMPLETELY BESIDES THE POINT!

honestly just glad that you're loving the experience! steam os does have some tricks up its sleeves. honestly I just like it because after going through the entire install of arch, I just want to sit down and play some planet crafter.

honestly, I cheat my way into having a good set up with gaming, arch is amazing as a work rig, but I just install steamOS on another drive, and boot into that for any gaming.

I will definitely say, jumping into arch as my first Linux distro was a lot of things. a mistake was most of it. but I've gathered such a large understanding of exactly what my pc is capable of. I've loved every second of it.
