IIRC, this photo and its off-the-charts cringe factor was popularly thought to have tainted the image of the device as something that only absolute tools would wear.

This isn’t the best pizza place in our neighborhood, but it was nice to grab some slices and sit there among neighbors.

(I like to shoot whatever pizza or meal I’m eating so I get practice using my [non-iPhone] camera)

I heard we all get one freebie screenshot dunk post so I’m using mine for this guy. I block him on every platform I find him. There is nothing he can add to the discourse that will make you smarter, and in fact you will come away dumber and slightly older for having read his pablum.

Stelter is the beneficiary of right-place, right-time — he’s been slinging his mediocre brand of insight-free media “analysis” since the early 2000s blogging era, when he founded TV Newser as a college student. The MSM anchors and “journalists” he covered, who can’t get enough of seeing their own names in print/pixels, LOVED reading his little blog. And because blogging at the time was novel (and look at this cute widdle undergrad in Baltimore writing about all us important people here in New York!), he got a lot of undue credit and eventually became a clearinghouse for media gossip 🤮 His “analysis” of media is little more than willfull misinterpretation of the true motives behind legacy media coverage (and lack thereof).
