Here's where this one landed! found out I love rim light, and I need to to practice rendering crystal necklaces if I'm ever to draw my boy ever again. I refuse to draw buttons and his nails are matte 🤥 anyways cya next piece.

Yet another reminder for all the non-black comic book artists out there. The same around of research and reference pulling y’all do for everything else in your work, do the same amount of research for black people. Especially our hair. There’s literally no excuse.
