i am really tired of the way that frum people talk about OTD people. granted, it's slightly better than it used to be. we aren't categorically shunned in the way that was expected of parents even ten or fifteen years ago. but the way that our pain is dismissed and ignored is infuriating.

you also cannot have a community that lacks freedom of information without abuse, and this is not just narrowed down to CSA. any community where people feel like they cannot be authentically true to themselves, or they don't have the information to understand themselves, you will have abuse.
