Look, any of these assclowns could have run for Senate last year, or 3 years ago, or 5 years ago, and could've won and then voted for the CR. The fact that they didn't do so means that, really, the people at NPR are to blame if there's a shut down.

Causation is a funny, pliable thing. Since Deirdre Walsh from NPR could in theory take the Dems hostage and force them to vote for the CR, by not doing so Deirdre Walsh from NPR would be responsible for the causing a shut down. I wonder what she has to say for herself.
