I see a lot of recommendations for the AT2020 which is choice, i can vouch for that myself, but if you have the extra funds and an audio interface, i would look to the at2035. both are fantastic for the price point, but the shock mount, the fuller frequency response, & lower self noise are primo.

youtube music and apple music have great feature spreads, youtube for discovery/sharing and apple music for playlist setups and library arrangement, as well as both seeming to pay artists decently. there are some other services like tidal for hq streaming and qobuz for artist support but ymmv there!

There's more details to come and a roadmap for some of the things I have planned for streaming also, with singles being chipped away at, *I promise*, but I wanna reconnect with what motivated me to jump into this in the first place. See y'all down the road, and if you've read all this, thank you.

I'm glad to have met the people I have during this hiatus and to be learning what I am, and I'm especially grateful for the people who sought out my work as a musician, keeping me upright for this past year. That said, I'll probably be streaming tomorrow for TennoCon, and I'd love to see ya there.

I need something to shift, and creatively, the only easy way for that is to diversify. So that's what I'm doing. I'm going to be learning some video work and getting back to streaming, which requires its own talk, because I'm planning on shifting fully to variety, as I've walked from Destiny 2.

I got caught up in making sure the sound is unique, refined, and impactful, and ended up in the exact same perfectionist pitfall I try to discourage in others. I've hinged so many secondary projects on releasing my music while using commissions to keep myself financially stable that I'm burnt out.

I think that working on this album and centering it as the sole project I've been working towards has been keeping me from moving forward as a person, and I can't keep on producing in a room trapped in amber. I want this project to be great, I really do, but I can't push myself to focus on it alone.
