Hello, I’m Allen. I’m a Navy veteran (Machinist Mate 1st Class) and now a college student in a Psychology program. I am in the process of getting a Mobile Detailing (For now) business started called The Standard Detailing.
I have a questions for you scholars. How is it that, worshipping a figure or portrait of Jesus is not idolatry? However, worshipping a carving or painting of say Oden or Shango is? I'm really not understanding how the two are different? Can anyone explain?

As the people, we need to do better at not turning a blind eye to this administration's lies and egreigious wrong doings. Is the reason no one is pushing forward on the Hegseth thing because of Bondi? Is there no one that can challenge her? I do not believe there is any legal way they can control that much power.

I wonder what people would say if I said "A friend of mine died three days ago, but today he is up and eating dinner with me. We talked about his father coming to save us from all the bad things." People would think I have some severe psychological issues no doubt. 🤔

It is absolutely wild that the guy who won’t stop yelling about law and order is now personally stepping in to keep January 6 documents hidden from the police officers who were attacked that day. He knows exactly what’s in those files and he is terrified the country will see it.

I am now reading The Nature of Prejudice by Gordon Allport. Another Psychologist, you can tell the book is old by it's outdated language. But so far it's just giving definitions of prejudice. Has anyone ever read Walden Two? It's a book written by B.F. Skinner, a psychologist during the 40's or so. I finished it several days ago, but I'm probably going to have to read it again. Anyways, what did you think of it? If you've read it that is? Let me know in the comments! #books #psychology
