The PNW's former favorite #weather personality was out yesterday with a piece blatantly praising parts of the #Project2025 plan for NOAA and sympathizing other parts.

He continues to disappoint in the most spectacular ways. It's clear he's angling for a position in the new administration.

These are the SPC storm report pages us PNW weather geeks live for…one lonely red dot in Oregon. A waterspout likely came ashore in Rockaway Beach, causing minor damage as a tornado. #orwx

There’s some decent low level shear this afternoon across portions of the Willamette Valley and SW WA with southerly flow at the surface and westerlies aloft. If a stronger shower/t-storm develops this afternoon there could be some rotation, perhaps a funnel cloud. #orwx #wawx

Things have been pretty hectic for me over the last few weeks…got COVID for the first time, had to say goodbye to the team I worked with for the last three years, going through some relationship issues, got a new car, started a new job, and am now passing a kidney stone this weekend.

Breezy east winds to start the day in the Portland area as a low begins to swing northward just off the OR/WA coast. Stronger south winds look to develop later this evening along the coast and in NW WA. Those areas may see their first 50+mph gusts of the season. #orwx #wawx
