You can do it in Tune, in the Define Scan Tab. We set it to a SIM scan on the polysiloxane background mass and then set the "FAIMS CV Scan" (see pic) and record it. It will ask you whether to save the report in the end.

FAIMS tip: make sure you check the CV-value after calibration! It happened the 2nd time (in one year) that it shifted by 6-10 V. There is no warning in the report and QC often seems normal (no. of PSMs), so you would not notice. Good news: Thermo technicians can re-calibrate (remotely from San Jose)
