A love story between two lonely immigrants, Mira and Tahliil, in present day England. If only Mira were not already married. BELGRAVE ROAD by Manish Chauhan is an affecting debut, perfect for readers of Colm Toibin and Alice McDermott. #ewgc @librarylovefest.bsky.social

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

Been counting the days until CLOWN TOWN drops & I can finally discuss it, because, what a book. I fervently hope I get to see Mick Herron in person someday. In the meantime, this interview will have to do. I especially like his explanation of why poets are such good writers of prose.

Gosh, where did the time go? This #ewgc flew by! Leaving you with a picture of me hanging with my first cat buddy, whose name is sadly lost to time. I wonder if we’re discussing books?

See y’all in September.
