You are correct about uncertain time. 5 years, 5 centuries, 5 millennia? Wrong about this being anything approaching logic. Logic says, just because we don’t find disproof now, it can never remove the possibility of disproof at some time in the future. Science is not about proof, just knowledge.

Atheism requires, not zero proof of a deity, but positive proof there is none. The latter is, currently, impossible. We may evolve to that stage, but we are not there now.
