To be anti fascist today is to abolish the border and be resolutely pro-migrant!!

As if ethnosupremacists and white nationalists emboldened by this care about your "citizenship status" or (your silly & false) "legal vs illegal" arguments - they will come for you too eventually!

And same for all the racialized people joining in and showing up for anti-immigration rallies - beyond being shameless, you literally are opening the door for racism to be directed against you too!

And so workers who join in anti-immigrant propaganda are making it harder for *any*, including *their own* struggle to win.

All it does is make it easier for bosses to make migrants even more vulnerable thru worsening exploitative migrant work programs, or undocumented labour, or outsourcing. Capitalists wont deport migrants, they just want workers to be made vulnerable, to break solidarity, to make it harder to unionize

what most "citizen" workers who endorse anti immigrant rhetoric have to realize is that falling for this trap actually just entrenches capitalism. "Deporting migrants" isnt suddenly going to fix shitty wages or crappy schools!

borders create false binaries of workers vs migrants (as if migrants are not also workers!); provides a convenient scapegoat for austerity in the figure of "the migrant", and reinforces racial capitalism and racist citizenship.

"The migrant", already a dehumanizing flattening word, comes to stand in and be scapegoated for the crises of capitalism, and anti immigration bs entrenches racism, capitalism & colonialism.
