I just hope they start releasing the land soon if I’m being honest, once they get started we as a club and supporters should see development be fast tracked but Wyndham council slowing down the residential approval

But really hope they start the stadium early next year

The one next to ground is designed and approved but state gov put it on back burners so not much we can do about that

From what i remember from the last game I was there, the main road is complete and pretty sure the land has started being cleared for the stadium

Club also needs to build a pub next to the ground for pre and post game

By the time westerns ground is built in 2 years or so they say

The residents area and plaza should hopefully be somewhat complete, there’s been an update on the train station as well next to the ground proposed for completion in 2026 but not sure if it’s the one that’s 1km or 3km away

The later game would suit a Sydney team as it gives them good time to get there without no rush

Mac vs Nix 6:30
Team vs Perth 8:45-9

Saturday
Jets vs AKL for early game

That way should be decent viewing for most

That’s why I reckon an hour later would be better

5:30 AEDT is 7:30 I’m pretty sure so if they had Nix or AKL it would suit them and shoulda had the other nz team on Saturday at the earlier slot

Feel like Friday shoulda been 6:30 and push the game a bit later bc it’s a Friday people finish at 5 and it’s a Friday night so nothing wrong with games being later
