A basic principle of campaigning is to set the terms early and force your opponents to follow you. If you do it they'll almost always come out smaller. Pritzker is doing that.

For decades American Politics has missed or ignored the major political challenges to the U.S. political mainstream (neoconservatism, Tea Party, far right). This is unfathomably shameful. How do we even have to debate this? Why would anyone ever again be so foolish as to trust or help the United States if this is how we treat people who risk their lives on our behalf?

I don’t think people understand narcissistic personality disorder. When you take away their ability to create drama, that is when you have the power. Until then, they control the situation. We’re not dealing with a functioning government like we did during the civil rights movement. 1/
