Why are we still here, reasoning? When will we realize that reasoning never worked in 1930 and will never work now? Inside, many of you still think we live in a democratic, normal society. In reality, it is lawless, dictatorial, and in a state of national terrisom. Wakeup!

That was the Germany 90 years ago. History does repeat itself in a most horrible way.

That’s the American we are today. Admit it.

If this happened in China, Russia, Mexico, or even Canada, I wonder how many of us would take the high moral ground and treat this event as outrageous barbarism. Our president would threaten them with military action.

Well, it happened here. We are just continuing our everyday lives with a sigh. 😩

Wait, the GOP thinks our military should follow an illegal order? What kind of Americans are they? I thought they were the loudest when chanting democracy.

There are always reasons when Trump spends time with and praises a person. More likely than not, the reason is somehow tied to his personal gain - vanity or money. In this case, is it possible that Trump really wanted to live in NYC instead of Florida when he is done with DC?

Wait, I thought the GOP wants a small government and doesn’t want the federal government to intervene with the states. Do we have any GOPs left in this country?

His boss reminds me of everything about a rapidly declining empire. He reminds me of the worst a human being can be.
September 16, 2025 at 2:07 AM
I don't think you understand how true Americans, those who chant “USA” on any occasion where they don’t know how to express their thinking, think. They just love to win - meaning beat anyone they can overpower. Whether there is a legitimate reason is irrelevant. So nothing embarrassing here.

Except the Dem never will do as you said. The Dem (except Gavin) just a bunch of people always say the things sound good but never dare to act. Aka, losers.

That approach works in most situations, but not during a war. That's why you rarely find a novel featuring an army of martial arts masters fighting together as a team.

I do everything I can to make a difference. For example, I will vote yes on gerrymandering and encourage others to do the same.

Respect your choice. But in the war, protecting yourself while ignoring your population's dire situation is almost futile. Most of us never prepare to fight a war (who wants a war anyway). But when it happens to you, your best chance to survive is to fight.
August 22, 2025 at 4:10 AM
So be it. It is important to recognize that this is a war, not a competition. If you're a peacemaker and someone invades your home, destroying your society, what do you do? Letting the invaders win without resistance is selfish, prioritizing your beliefs over the safety of your family and community.

We are too proud to say we are slipping into Authoritarianism. “We” means media, the Dem, and almost the entire US population.
August 11, 2025 at 5:52 PM
I am sick of the mainstream media. They are effectively becoming a propaganda machine for this administration. When one punches other people and later apologizes, that is not a DEAL. That’s an embarrassing retreat. Which you don’t understand, all so-called mainstream media?!!!!!

For those who picked Iran in the place of China, can we ask them where China is?
June 22, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Trump will order the bombing, but the reasons for his decisions are rarely reported by the media. He wants to show that he is a strong man. That is only motive he has. He doesn't care about nuclear weapons or religious differences. Plain and simple.
June 19, 2025 at 2:15 AM
I see your statement as a carefully constructed paragraph meant to portray you as morally good and politically correct. In reality, it only highlights your ineffectiveness and hypocrisy, similar to that of your GOP colleagues. I will not be voting for you going forward.
June 13, 2025 at 8:10 PM
Where are you when the US democracy requires you to do your job and stand up without putting your own political career as the top priority? You are MIA.

Where do you stand when other countries (hint the one you stand with) also developed (secretly but well known by others) nuclear weapons?

California only has two U.S. Senators. As a security team, if you can't recognize these two individuals, you should be fired.
June 12, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Be honest with ourselves. If you still trust anything Noem has said, you’re naive. 2nd, we must accept that we have long passed the threshold of being a democratic country. 3rd, our media, mainstream or otherwise, is failing completely. The only question left is: Are we at the point of no return?
June 12, 2025 at 8:35 PM
The sad truth is that for more than 40% of US citizens who believe they are loyal to our Constitution, these three people do not matter. All they care about is a gung-ho show until one of these three people becomes them.
June 12, 2025 at 2:40 AM
I have heard a lot about our police being trained in de-escalation. However, many incidents I have witnessed convince me that either this statement is false or they don't care and treat it as just a checkbox.
June 12, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Not everything is a mere play in your political game. This is an existential threat to modern democracy in our country. If you fail to recognize this reality, then you absolutely do not deserve our votes.
June 12, 2025 at 2:33 AM
FT thinks this is the first skirmish. Trump just claimed he won the war. So what US people should believe, our President or a foreign newspaper? ⁉️
