6. The building on the right has proportion, symmetry, clean lines and a cloud that resonates with the sky. It’s just better in every respect.

An awful start by the coach. Worst run since 1978. However in 3/4 games we’ve dominated most of the first 45. That drop-off in performance has a limited amount to do with the coach & everything to do with a group of players who lack belief in themselves/teammates. With justification. Awful squad.

Ah! T H Green again. Hugely important yet largely unknown political philosopher.

Indulge the Scot here. What’s the Michelob Ultra cultural reference?

Lovely. He can perform his amusing party piece for the fellow metropolitains on the panel; a full-verse rendition of that fine anti-Catholic marching song “The Sash (my father wore)”. A truly reprehensible wee dude.

To be fair, his budget in the Summer was limited to £500M.

Indeed. Both practical and moral.

There are good practical reasons in support of Scottish indy. However the most compelling reason is the increasing moral divergence between the respective Scottish and rUK polities. Simply put, this stuff drives the wedge in more deeply. And by the Labour Party!!

Argyle St., Glasgow. Tron steeple in the foreground (former Tron Kirk, now the Tron Theatre) and in the background Glasgow Cross. Trams still around so late ‘50s/1960/1961?

Yes. He’s on top of plinth.

Suspect it’s a little more nuanced. Brendan’s a top coach but @ Liverpool, Celtic (x2) & Leicester his teams regress c.3 years in due to poor recruitment, in which he has been the principal. He also did seem out of ideas. Board absolutely not covered in glory tho’. Case of both things being right.
October 28, 2025 at 8:19 AM
I’m sure that Brendan did see a dagger before him.

In which case the trick is to get “Britons” out to vote rather than having them opine from the outside to pollsters.
