The best way to find candidates that are good at winning elections is to have an election.

We can tax that too, when other people sell their equity. This concept that the US government wasn't somehow benefiting from corporations growing is wild. When people make money the government takes a cut. But somehow taxes = socialism and "literal state ownership of companies" = capitalism

Maybe instead of forcing companies to give us equity, we tax their profits. Like we used to.

Defending Schumer/pelosi/Jefferies/Biden as "People who know how to win elections" is wild. They've lost congressional majorities and presidential elections to Trump's Republicans twice! They don't know how to win, we should stop listening to them

The NCAA needs to sign a CBS with a players union. The NFL doesn't need legislation to operate because they follow employment law.

She was supposed to step down in 2022 before Dems lost the Senate. I hope she doesn't go the way of RBG and let another Roe v Wade get overturned

You can't have this take and also complain about the offensive line.

I'm not arguing against Amazon causing people to buy more useless shit. Just saying that single item deliveries aren't really that bad, amortized across a neighborhood

The way things get to the local Amazon distribution center and the way things get to Costco is very comparable. What's not comparable is the way things get from the warehouse to people's homes: a bunch of individual household trips vs aggregated neighborhood delivery

I'm saying that single item deliveries aren't automatically a bad thing. If I need laundry detergent and my neighbor needs toilet paper, is it better if we both drive to the store or if 1 guy drives and delivers both of our stuff

I view Amazon as the entire neighborhood carpooling to the store everyday. I think it's better that 1 truck drops stuff off everyday vs everyone taking multiple trips to multiple stores
