I'm hopeful for 2026. We don't know their initial planned release date window and if it'll be within reach for next year due to Playstation screwing up and Wintermute being the core focus for everyone. So, let's wait until the next Dev Diary before we cross our fingers. But I hope it still happens!

There are two other games in the works with a possible teaser release next week. Do I feel it'll happen? Probably not... but I'd give it a 20% chance. If they're going to reveal something else, this would be the event to do it on.

That was from the original Steam listing when game was announced. I mean look out again this year, there's two other games apparently in development that Hinterland might squeeze into The Game Awards 2025 announcements. I doubt anything BLACKFROST related unless their hard pressed on 2026 release.

It's hard to gauge when it'll launch in Early Access. We know TLD 1 officially concludes March 31st, 2026. They'll still reach for a 2026 release for BLACKFROST. I dont know if that's still possible but it's good to keep getting these screenshots! Watch The Game Awards, maybe we get surprised again?

There’s some forms of using AI that can be applied correctly (Google AI simple answers to mundane question). Then there’s everything else that AI being used for for writing code, scripts, music/vocals absurd videos (freaking SORA) and far too many other things that is not needed at all.

That was an excellent final game. I'm super proud that this game could've gone either way several times. This is how baseball seasons should end. It hurts, but it's not a "ugh that was rubbish" type of hurt. What a great team the Jays are though!

Baseball is normally boring until it goes “OMG THIS SPORT IS THE BEST YES!!! HIT THE WALL AND RUN RUN RUNNNNN!!!!”. It’s satisfying when the game is tight and stressful. The excitement goes from a 1 to a 9 immediately.
