This weekend, I honor those who gave or risk their lives in the service of a safe society. Safety is the cornerstone of a free, just, and peaceful world. This sacrifice imparts to us a moral obligation to build a society worth the cost. It's a good time to recommit to the golden rule.

With Mother's Day and our 5th Anniversary coming up, I'll likely be too busy on the day to make a post but very much looking forward to celebrating all of the special ladies that have given me so much to be grateful for. Thank you for the love, support, care, and joy you bring me every day.

Today we said goodbye to our family dog, Cotton, finally ending his many health struggles. He is such a cheerful and supportive soul, I will miss him dearly. If people had as much love for anything as dogs do for everything, the world would be a better place. Have fun playing fetch with Gma Bonnie.
