I feel you. I literally had to trade all my duplicate shinies to a second profile with a second game already as I have an alpha living dex and a like 70% done shiny living dex and 11 boxes of duplicate shinies so far lol It’s definitely not what I would prefer.

I think they pretty clearly want us to complete the pokedexes in each new game without being able to just move Pokemon in. I’d prefer we had the option, as I’d love to do first playthroughs with shinies, but I think their decision makes sense.

Reposting with clearer language so no one thinks I’m saying “don’t talk about it.” This is about the urge we get when we see a lie not just to identify it (urgent) and shame it (useful) but to explain to each other why it’s a lie, often back and forth to people who already know (less useful)
