I got a physical copy of my first draft so I could see what needed to change for the cover and there’s a few things to tweak, but it looks really good in person. The image is a bit too dark and the pig isn’t opaque enough but it mostly looks really pretty and is really cool to see in person.

Justice is the main antagonist of The Trail. She is a narcissistic, fascist, Christian nationalist politician and member of the Trail Independence Party. She has partnered with The Boss to control the Forest Rangers, a militant police force with lookout towers along the Trail.

The Trail is a 2,000-mile twisting, haunting maze that spans from Old Woman Springs Road in Georgia to the peak of Mount Ararat in Maine. To read more, check out the first 4 chapters on my website, linked below.

These are just a few of the stories that I think had inspiration on my writing of The Trail. One of my main characters, Therese Defarge, is named after the character from A Tale of Two Cities.
