Poet. Only in it for the money.

(And now also a CHASE-funded PhD student working on the blank spaces of 20th century poetry at UEA.)
Very sad to lose you from the early morning, Petroc. You’ve been a wonderful voice accompanying us through so many historic events. Best wishes for the new adventure!

That’s very tough. Have you looked at the Civil Service? They’re the people who often want analysis and reflective writing skills. You need to follow their application process carefully to demonstrate the match of your skills with the job spec, and practice the interview format.

Very sad news. We chatted from time to time after an early morning church service where we were both regulars - Clive told me that he looked forward to discussing my PhD with me as it progressed. I’m sad not to have the opportunity to hear what he was going to share with me.

… and yet climbing down the tree to sit at a desk with a piece of paper seemed like it would slow me down too much… #PhDnightmares

* It was very specifically the Cambridge Uni 3rd year “Tragedy” exam.

Italy a clear winner there, with Marinetti’s innovative asymmetric approach.
