You are a very lucky person, enjoy your garden. We have finally hit winter here this last week. Predicting snowfalls tomorrow but I will believe that when it falls. It probably will higher up on the peaks but not here as the town is only 795m in my driveway.

I wish I had a garden like that. Here I have to watch where I am in my back yard. Overlooked by neighbours, and in spring I have to wait for the trees to leaf up before i can go out

I walked on a salt lake in WA near Kalgoorlie.
Broke through the surface into stinking sticky black mud up to my knee ( only one foot went through) lost my thong (flip flop). Getting the mud off is another story involves driving miles with my leg out the window
