A Note on Plagiarism: It is important to have a clear understanding of academic integrity. Sharing ideas with fellow classmates is encouraged and may help you in the advancement of your ideas, but the content of each assignment must be a result of your own work. If you use ideas that are taken from another source, you must clearly cite them within the text. If references taken from another source are not clearly cited with full bibliographic information, it will be considered plagiarism. Chat GPT and/or other AI generated work will also be considered plagiarism. Academic dishonesty of any sort is an offense for which a student may be expelled, failed, or given other severe disciplinary sanction. Please be aware that Canvas, through Turnitin.com, provides both a plagiarism score and an AI score for each written assignment you submit in this course. It is crucial to maintain Turnitin scores below 15%, and AI scores must be 0%. I will implement a proportional deduction for each assignment, depending on the associated AI score. For example, if your AI score is 20%, the assignment grade will be automatically reduced by 20%.
