I was in Houston training a team at one of the big oil services companies and they were in panic mode. They told me that their business would collapse if oil dropped below $55/barrel because drilling and exploration would simply stop. It’s not there yet but it’s getting close.

I train Product teams at tech companies and the truth is that 99% of them have no idea how AI would make their product better or easier to use. Every CEO in the country is saying “we are building AI into our product but it’s almost all window dressing at this point.

I messed up my knee and the PT was so lame I went back and said “seriously, I did your “toe lift” a million times and didn’t feel it.
They sent me to a PT for the local pro sports teams and it was an entirely different world, I could barely walk after the 1st visit (but my knee got better).

I’ve made those decisions as a corporate executive and I ALWAYS thought about the impact on the people (most good CEOs do). Sometimes there’s no alternative but you can still be honest, treat people with dignity, and do everything possible to make the outcome less painful.

I’ve made those decisions as a corporate executive and I ALWAYS thought about the impact on the people (most good CEOs do). Sometimes there’s no alternative but you can still be honest, treat people with dignity, and do everything possible to make the outcome less painful.

It’s also undeniable that 80% of the “engagement” on X is MAGA bots amplified by the algo. Literally no matter what the post is, 2/3 of the responses are repetitive (and often nonsensical) MAGA talking points.

I fixed that problem by blocking 99% of the people I went to high school with in KS in the mid 80s and then deleting my Facebook account.
It’s really something to see what happened to all of them (of course 99% of them are still in KS so that explains a lot).

There is a difference between “salaries” and “net worth”. Musk was asked and specifically said “NET WORTH”, which has nothing to do with their salary.
